Pedal Ready.

This is me at Pedal Ready. At Pedal Ready we are learning how to be safe on the road, we're learning how to check the bike whether if it is safe for us to ride. 


I want to share this learning with you because it is important for our safety.  For me, I love riding bikes so this learning is really good for me. 

The Key competencies I used were Managing Self so I know what is going on and because we are getting told really important stuff so I had to know what was going on. I used Thinking too, so I was thinking about what some good choices that I need to use in this new learning.

The next steps for me are not to go too fast on the bikes because it's dangerous for me and others that are around me.

The reason why I want to share this learning with you is because I think that building can help me in the future.

The Key competencies I used were thinking and relating to others. I used thinking by thinking of safe ways to use the tools. I used relating to others by waiting patiently for the tools when others were using it.

Next steps for me are to be kind of safe with the tools because when I use tools I get really happy so I get kind of hyped when I used them.

Camp Learning Story.

Have you ever been to Camp Makahika?

At Camp Makahika we get to learn new things and we get to overcome our fear by doing really scary things. Come on, I will tell you more about Camp.

The most significant learning I

did at camp was the high ropes because I got to overcome my fears because I was really high up.

The other significant thing was the flying fox. When I got up there I was really scared because I thought that I was going to die but nope I was wrong!

The other significant learning I did was the bush hut making in the woods because one day we might get lost somewhere in the woods and one thing we know is how to make a hut to keep us warm from the weather.

The key competencies that I used were Thinking by thinking of new strategies to stay focused on my learning and I used thinking by thinking of the choice I was going to make so I don't distract others from the learning that is going on.

I can use this learning in the future by teaching my family members what to do when they're lost somewhere like in the woods.
