maths.

this problem is telling us how out of Philomena and June that can hop skip jump the farthest Philomena reckons she can jump the farthest because she has got a faster run up. and June bets that she can jump the farthest because she has got longer legs than Philomena.

thirst go.
so Philomena had jumped hop and skip.
1.01m
.97m  +
1.57m

so we put all her score together
and it was 3.55m

thirst go
so June had hope jumped and siped
.89m
1.11m +
1.5m

so we put it all together and it was 3.50
so Philomena had won the thirst go.

second go
1.001m
0.97m  +
1.57m
Philomena score was 3.55

second go
1.11m
1.50m
o.89m
June jumped 3.50
Philomena won the thirst and the second go

as you can see me and my group has
made like a box or some think to put
so in that box we put Philomena and
June is each score in one of their box
so every point they get we put them all

together.
